With Chile announcing that they are going to nationalize lithium production and expect ALB and SQM to begin negotiations before their land tenure runs out in 2040 and 2030 respectively it seems likely that this will light a fire under ALB in its quest to buy LTR. Who knows it might even provide the necessary push for SQM to make a competitive bid since their runway is that much shorter for Chile nationalization. In any case these type of political policies will be good for WA and Canada.
