Unfortunately I'm beginning to believe that NKP haven't got the foggiest idea whether Xstrata will exercise the option and can do nothing more than drag things out as Xstrata wring out as much as it can possibly get for $10M and test the nerve of the company.

I would be very surprised if the Final BFS wasn't already complete and we're all waiting whilst Xstrata enters the first stages of corporate gamesmanship.
