The SP has been played with for quite some time to ensure no momentum is ever sustained. That's what suitors do before making offers via paying dirty hedge funds to do this work. Would make a lot of sense for Rio especially after trying its luck in Serbia for a big fail.
Also had a go at buying a $5B stake in SQM in 2018.
