I did not read between the line, but the story says this:
MinRes said on Wednesday that its interest in lithium explorer Essential Metals was consistent with a focus on opportunities around the Mount Marion mine in Western Australia.
Essential Metals’ undeveloped Pioneer Dome lithium discovery is about 100 kilometres from the Mount Marion mine operated and half-owned by MinRes alongside Chinese battery metals player Ganfeng.
MinRes said work to double processing plant capacity at Mount Marion to 900,000 tonnes a year of mixed-grade spodumene concentrate had been hit by problems getting workers to site, and finding them beds in the three months to March 31.
One would say mine at Dome, I don't know the economical side if cheaper to preprocess at Dome to reduce transport costs.
But looking at the fact they are also interested in other smaller deposits, one would say mine and truck to the main processing plant, maybe some preprocessing to reduce transport.
