My understanding of the wording "finance/ownership structure" is the way in which a company's ownership of the chemical plant is structured and how it is financed ( and NOT that the plant needs to be financed first). The OWNERSHIP structure of a chemical plant would determine who owns the plant, how much will they own, and what kind of control they have over the plant. The FINANCE structure would determine how a company raises and manages its funds including equity and debt financing. A combination of these (ownership and finance) structures can have a significant impact on a company's decision-making processes, management, and overall success of the project/s. So it is a no brainer that any lender/investor including DFC will require these details especially when Lepidico states it is considering a debt and equity option with a Abu Dhabi state owned organisation.
