Eagle, other than the obvious, I ask, what in real terms does the Coalition have to do with any of this mess? The mess was Government created and needs to be Government resolved to a sum advantage for Australia; not to damage Australia's reputation further and to waste more money with poorly thought out reactive campaigns.
The Government doesn't need to prove itself to the Coalition. It needs to openly and convincingly prove itself firstly to the Australian public. Not through smoke and mirror ad campaigns and rough back of beer coaster accounting, but by actually (truly!) taking in and understanding the turmoil created.
This is currently an issue between THE CURRENT GOVERNMENT "managing" Australia and the disbelieving voice of both normal Australians and Australian industry. It has nothing to do with any other political party at present.
