Better captial management would resolve this. Hopefully before taking a position in a stock you understand your risks, entry/ exit points, stop losses, etc. Now whether you act on these is a moving decision based on available facts and possibility of outcomes and a review of your capital mgmt position.

Why do people who have made poor decisions in the past can't get out of this mindset ??? I have lost on a number of stocks from poor CM, black swan events, etc - but i don't keep pointing these out because of my ineffective investing.

If you're not happy, get out of the stock and do something else - life's too short to not enjoy it.
