are you aware though that the poor have ACOSS as a voice? the mining sector has the Minerals Council, big businesses have BCA and industry IAG, catholic schools and other religious schools have a Voice as do migrants.
but first Aussies have been denied a Voice since Howard abolished the corrupted ATSIC...... 20 years they've been effectively silenced.
over those 20 yrs many different programs have been tried, most with no consultation, and none have made a significant improvement of Closing the Gap criteria.
the Voice only enables first Aussies to "make representations" of the views of first Aussies., its now not even "advice". Surely this should make a difference as @Tarvold denies.
