sounds like they are looking at a wet acid plant.
why would they do that when phosphate hill is next door and owns the land they are mining.
wet acid plants cost billions plus you need sulphuric acid and all the phosphogypsum waste you have to deal with. Look at verdant which is looking at doing the same thing at armarroo.
ardmore was only ever a small dso operation that IPL couldn’t be bothered with. management would be better served trying to mine more economic phosphate than waste time on phos acid plants.
seems strange.
