Brand recognition counts for a lot. Many hundreds of thousands of former overseas students have left Australia & miss it's coffee culture. Gloria Jean's, Dome & Starbucks are brands they appreciate. No, the dozen or so Gloria Jean's in Pakistan or a few more in South east Asia might not bring in much revenue for now. But an intelligent rollout with well-funded partners in China & India could really create massive momentum. A new Starbucks opens in China every 9 hours! Let's have a slice out of that pie!

Before anyone says rolling out Gloria Jean's in China or India is a cakewalk, think again. Coffee is a cutthroat business. But when done properly, with well-funded partners, it's a gold mine. Gloria Jean's, with its well-established name, could someday be worth billions.
