I originally put $10,000 into VBA at 32.5c - I then participated in the capital raising at 20c. I had made a paper profit of around $40,000 at one stage - helping to make up for some of my losses from the GFC. How quickly that has all been undone. How very painful. Who said stocks are a good way to make money? I've been in stocks for the long term and I'm sure my money would have been far better off in cash
