    Did you hear the recent news, resulting from the BP offshore deep well disaster in the Gulf of Mexico.

    Obama is pulling back on allowing further deepwater drilling exploration around the USA.

    I would expect this will translate into more land exploration activity, and also put pressure on the capital value of good oil and gas land going up, further in $value.

    In due course it will likely put pressure on the barrel price of oil going up, too.

    This should lead to a further upwards $valuation on the gas wells IMP have, that are so strategically close to the major population centres of the USA ...as well as the very viable drillable tenements that they now own.

    Very timely, in light of the 1:15 rationalisation of shares to take place this coming week.

    Shareholders may now hold back on selling IMP shares, with the prospect of land tenements likely to be more highly sought after than before this disaster. Hence putting upwards pressure on the SP.

    In every disaster there is always some opportunity...
