I mostly look at companies with a high cash balance who have a likely outstanding resource or technology and have the management whom I believe can leverage to maximum effect.
Also management who appear to clever as well as decent human beings.
Then buy when few have their eyes on it and the stock appears lifeless. Reminds me of KRM in this respect.
It’s a very simple strategy that has served me very well over the decades.
