Crolles.... very close to Grenobles which is where CEA-Leti is
Big number.... The project is worth totally €7.4 billion,
Capacity..... 620,000 wafers per annum
Chips Act.... €43 billion ($45.3 billion) - that indicates an increase in european capacity of approx 3,000,000 wafers using the Crolles figures to extrapolate.
The BILLION dollar question is..... How much is a wafer worth, and how much revenue will WBT generate from one wafer?
Then extrapolate for the USA production estimates, and Taiwan/ROW.
Can anyone fill in the blanks on this?
