And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation,and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
The way the above reads imo is, they come out and then wash their robes.
The Interlinear appears to just say -> and to wash the robes them (self).
So, the way the latter appears to read, of which I understand anyway is, their going through the tribulation because of holding untruths, and the tribulation is in fact a cleansing, testing come trial.
All though they hold untruths, they will still hold fast to them and be prepared to die for them.
Hence they put on the incorruptible (washing) seed = the word of God = TRUTH, which then gives immortality.
Again this latter area shows, untruths held.
The Great Tribulation is NOT the Wrath, they are two different things.
The wrath follows after a harvest.
Even if one has total truths going into the Trib, that is No guarantee that you will survive a literal bodily death, not necessarily spared from it.
