    The short answer is yes , the share prices stay closely aligned ...

    ... in theory , if a gap opens between the prices on the separate listings , investors will seek to exploit that difference , by trading one off against the other , and in doing so will themselves narrow the price gap ...

    A market term for this is " arbitrage " ....
