I don't agree. I think JH is being absolutely honest about the situation with her peers, and I always value honesty!
I think she may be worried that she will look foolish for accepting the job if STX is gone in six weeks' time. By posting that response, she is publically acknowledging the risk of a short tenure and therefore letting her professional network know that she is 100% aware of the situation.
My thoughts only.....
