Well trajectory is only a factor in causing tool/cable sticking if there is key seating going on. This wasn't the case in M1 and the sidetrack. The problems getting logging tools down and tools and cable getting stick were hole related...namely differential sticking (related to mud weight/fluid loss and high formation permeability) and time dependent mechanical hole deterioration.
