Latest news I could see on road improvement for the route to port. Will be good to get confirmation of the World Bank funded complete rehab of RN10 starting soon. Should see it ready for our construction and mining next year.


Antananarivo, April 12, 10:57 a.m. – Provisional measures. The Ministry of Public Works (MTP) announces on Wednesday the end of emergency works on the national road RNS10. These one-off repairs concern the section located at kilometer point 60+900 between Andranavory and Ambovombe. Work began in the second half of March and took almost a month.

⭕ These emergency works were carried out while waiting for the start of the total rehabilitation works of the RN10. These had been announced for early 2023. They are part of the Connect Madagascar for Inclusive Growth (PCMCI) project, signed in April 2022. Funded to the tune of 400 million dollars by the World Bank, including 200 million in credit and 200 million in donations, this project consists of rehabilitating the 400 km between Ambovombe and Andranovory, and the 100 km of the RN31 between Bealanana and Antsohihy.
