Impressive growth in My Dan's membership of 700,000 in a year.
The 'sales growth' in liquor is negative, surely, if one takes CPI into account. However comparisons remain challenging as a year ago wasn't a 'normal' trading period given COVID-19.
Again with the above caveat, the hotels division seems to be performing well, despite continual discussion in the media about many Australians allegedly reducing restaurant and face dining expenditure and number of visits, and 27 per cent of those with a home mortgage apparently being in financial trouble.
353 is a significant number of pubs and clubs.
Will EDV over time redevelop some more properties as it's doing with The Brook Hotel in Michelton, Brisbane, Queensland, less than 10km from the Brisbane GPO?
