I would be EXTREMELY surprised that mining commenced in mid 2011. I'm assuming a scoping study , a PFS then a possible BFS will need to be undertaken amongst many, many other prelims before a plant commissioning occurs.This would take time, more time and then more. It's not something that can be done in the blink of an eye.

If this were to be debt funded all necessary preliminary work re the above would need to be undertaken if someone is going to fund such a project. No entity will hand over money without knowing the risk v's reward.In other words crossing all the T's & dotting all the eyes first.

Going from an explorer to producer is one hell of a step that many juniors fail to achieve. Please don't consider this down ramping more a reality check as timelines usually given are exactly that and nothing more.


I gave a rather extensive posting on such prelims some 18 months ago on another goldie. Outlining what's exactly involved when undertaking these processes, and it's certainly not a walk in the park as many may think.

It's all about patience and seeing the big picture unfold.
