Considering the strategic importance ( for different reasons) of Ukraine for both Russia and the USA and the past performance of both countries in influencing the governments of various countries, it is illogical to assume that the USA did not have a hand in removal of Yanukovych in 2014.


Russia probably had a hand in the 2010 election, but they had no interest in removing Yanukovych in 2014, and the protests were about that. They had an interest in keeping him in power, but it was too late for that.

We will find out the truth in 25-30 years, when the relevant documents are declassified..
