Bigglesworth, high volume moves on a wide spread bar not finishing on the top are generally weak, I know it sounds strange but they are and always get sold into and indeed there was a lot of selling going on yesterday too. In order to sustain rises the shareprice needs to move upward on narrow to medium sized bars on slowly increasing volume.
Have a look at the chart you'll see what I mean high volume days nearly always signify turn points or are near them.
