Well the title of the announcement told us instantly that is was going to be a low key announcement. The word "encouraging" is usually perceived as below expectations by an eager market and consequently there were zero buyers after the announcement.
Overall, yet another mediocre announcement by a company that seems too scared to raise its profile. We will all wait another few weeks for something better.
