Traditionally the opposing party does well in the mid-terms and the Trump worshippers here where predicting a red wave/tsunami in the mid-terms and the reps would control both houses, I predicted that would not due mainly to the abortion issue.
So while the Reps won control of the house in the mid-term it was only with a slim majority, democrats won extra seats in the senate and retained control.
