There is also a case , when the split between buy and sell to considered too great, and low volume, comsec (for example) will not action a buy/or at market trade, if they think you will move the price too much. They give you a call and say you can't. It's very frustrating. If you complain, you get a few free trades.

Retail holders will never move the market (normally), but they can take advantage of its ebbs and flows. Just need to keep your eye on the prize.
