    The Fraser Institute's Annual Survey of Mining Companies 2022 top jurisdiction in the world for investment based on the overall Investment Attractiveness Index was Nevada. Rounding out the top 10 are Western Australia, Saskatchewan, Newfoundland & Labrador, Colorado, Northern Territory, Arizona, Quebec, South Australia, and Botswana.

    New South Wales     was 23rd (based on the overall Investment Attractiveness Index).
