add to this its not the shorts buying back in... net shorts in same timeframe still going up with data until 1 May.
and about 3 million shorts were added on 4C date of 28 April. volume on that day was around 8.2 traded . so more than a third or 36.5% of all trades on 28 April were shorts increasing.
