with the old regime, maybe, but with the new, not too sure
most, if not all, new CEOs, would like to put their stamp on the map, so most strategies will change, incl. marcom but it is desirable to see a mix of the old and new comms, ie. frequent, meaningful, value adding, enough to excite the market but withhold some IP or sensitive info for conferences and scientific papers and less pump or trust me lines...
