Actually, Surf’s, to nitpick, which I do sometimes after a red or two, there’s no definition of BFS in the JORC Code, only FS, although BFS does get a sideways mention. So, technically, there’s only FS and most engineers use the USDI definition, which is reprinted in the AusIMM Estimation Handbook.
That said, I very much doubt that our banjo-playing chums from Charlie’s Trousers have read the USDI definitions.
