Some people seem to have this romantic notion about what Indigenous culture was pre 1788, either that or they've just decided to rewrite history.
Ignoring the facts that in Indigenous culture rape, murder, domestic violence, inter tribal warfare, paedophilia & infanticide were all regular occurences.
Claiming that the First Fleet brought violence to Australia, that it was some utopia before their arrival, is just a blatant distorted lie.
Yes the British pushed the Indigenous people off the land they were occupying & yes when the Indigenous fought back with violent resistance they were killed by marines, but there wasn't a mass military landing with the plan of systematic genocide.
