When the Bible talks about a ''beginning'' it is referring to something that is not eternal, The universe had a beginning [Gen1:1]. God had no beginning. Before the universe and the Word began only God existed Agreed, also there is a fine line / point between eternal and the beginning
The ''Word'' had a beginning. [John1:1]. there is no bible verse saying that the “Word” had a begining, if you take rev 21:6 And he said to me: It is done. I am Alpha and Omega; the beginning and the end. then is this saying that God had a beginning, no it is not
What John 1:1-3 is saying is that at the point where eternity meets creation the beginning, the point of before creation, the Word was with God and the Word was God the Word created “all things . . . and without him was made nothing that was made.” If the Word was created, he would have had to create himself, which is absurd.
Colossians 1:15-17 reveals Jesus as the “first-born of every creature. For in him were all things created . . . he is before all and by him all things consist.” Many make the mistake of concluding Jesus was created because he is called “first-born of every creature.” One obvious problem here is born and created have very different definitions
So John1:1 is referring to ''the Word'' having a beginning and that he was with 'the God', Jehovah. It does not say the Word was 'the God'.
No not at all, its not referring to the “Word” having a beginning, that is not biblical, it’s a conclusion you have arrived at, its saying that at the point of creation the “Word” (He) was with God and the “Word” (He) was God, together as one as in the likes “was God” or as you put it Jehovah, you are adding things, remember what you tell another poster, not to add to the bible.
Plus, one does not need the word “the” in the sense of 'the God, as you put it, how the bible puts it “Word was God' is saying the same thing, no issue
So we can conclude from this that Jesus ''the Word'' is not ''the God''. They are 2 different persons.
Again, this is only a conclusion you have arrived at, you are adding, so now we have 2, which goes against the Shema and the bible, of hear Israel God is one
Either Jesus is the same God, or you have 2, it does not work
