Possibly the answer to this question is something I would know if I had been paying attention, but I am wondering about the potential problem of hypersaline water in the Tower Hill pit. ATM as I understand it the tower hill pit is used to dump water from gwalia. Over time the water in the pit becomes hypersaline because the water evaporates but the salt doesn't. So does anyone on the forum know:
(1) what is the alternative arrangement for water from Gwalia, assuming Gwalia is not abandoned and allowed to flood when Tower Hill is mined?
(2) where would the hypersaline water from Tower Hill go? What would be involved, and how long would de watering take? It could maybe be dumped in Lake Raeside (which is a salt lake) and allowed to evaporate, but I think that would be a non-trivial undetaking, ie it would have to be dispersed over a wide area, and slowly so the water didn't just seep into groundwater and ruin the Leonora aquifer.
