[not sure what is meant here Taurisk, as NKWE is unaffected by the RSPT.

"There could be some concerns re possible nationalisation of mining in South Africa causing X-Strata to re-examine its strategies and taking their time over it." - doesn't seem to stack up with NKP's sp gains and retracements when those issues are present in the media...NKP holders are more interested in the BFS, the agreement that is generally in place as Xstrata is already paying for the BFS and has just visited NKWE, - and I infer from the initial BFS that costs are being reduced and measured resources are increasing to comply with Xstrata's interests. We have just seen Wesizwe complete a JV with the Chinese so not sure why you don't think the Chinese population with 1,300,000,000 and growing every year, (along with India and Japan), wouldn't be interested in a Pt mine which is a depleting ultra rare resource.

With only days to weeks to wait for the BFS and possible JV, what we are seeing is more in line with strategic stockbroking - plays in the market place as was just suggested in a previous post. It could indeed be Xstrata knocking at the door priot to a T/O, i.e. it fits that pattern more than the one you suggest. I am more of the opinion that retracements occur and wouldn't want to miss the BFS announcement which is being fast tracked.
