It's looking like it should play out this way, especially the way the FA looks to be matching up timing wise. There is a small part of me doubting it on account of the 'inorganic' trading that goes on with SYA though.That carbonate plant doesn't look like its going to cost very much unless they run into additional costs outside of what Dougal mentioned:
Carbonate plant stated as US$300m to get plant online - SYA pay 75% of cost as part of JV
-30% Canadian tax credit takes US$300 million down to US$210 million
-PLL 25% partner pays US$52.5 million
-SYA pays US$157.5 million
= AU$235m
Should be payed for with roughly 1 year of NAL profits.
