@mirri11Approval to sell medical devises and government funding are two separate things.
CE Mark UK, FDA USA, CLIA lab sponsorship USA, TGA Australia, Medsafe NZ are all public safety approvals, required prior to selling.
Currently the FIT (DIY poo) test for colorectal cancer population screening is government funded in all the above countries.
There is a significant focus by scientists globally to try to find a replacement for this test. Colostat has been proven to be 35% more accurate than FIT, cheaper, and will potentially capture large numbers of non participants. There aren't any other tests like it currently that we can find.
Should Rhythm manage to gain recognition and penetrate the market, they will be well placed to attract the interest of government funded cancer screening programs.
