I think what @adreamer just posted is in line with my thinking here @Jakjazz - absolutely no objection a obtaining a valuation, but it is not the right tool for driving the SP higher. As I mentioned, a valuation of IP being considered for a licensing deal or sale etc. would be a different matter.
I was responding to the proposition that a valuation would put a floor under the SP - it won't.
As @adreamer has mentioned, a valuation of IP that's part of a transaction of some sort should be a given.
