‘Major day’ in Bruce Lehrmann prosecution inquiry amid ‘huge revelations’

Today was a major day in the Bruce Lehrmann prosecution inquiry after the ACT Director of Public Prosecutions admitted he failed to disclose police documents which cast doubt on Brittany Higgins' claims, says Sky News host Sharri Markson.

“These are huge revelations about what happened behind the scenes in the Brittany Higgins case – what information made its way into the public domain, and what didn't,” Ms Markson said.

She said the relationship between the DPP and the Australian Federal Police is “under the spotlight”.

“One piece of evidence that's come to the light is known as the Moller report, after Scott Moller, the senior police officer who oversaw the investigation into the alleged rape – it includes discrepancies and other issues in Brittany Higgins' evidence."
