You are correct - BCI is responsible for mine rehab.
As for IV Mine life, if you look at the last IV's Ore Reserves you can see there is still life in the old girl yet....
And if you then consider MIN's current production rate of under 4mtpa (actually closer to 3.5mtpa), well that's now an IV mine life of 13-14 years.
So which is the priority? Taking the cash or extending mine life to defer a rehab liability?
It would be nice to know wouldn't it?
What would be their position on production rates if the IO price suddenly went to US$200pt? I bet I could guess.......
