point taken, I think should those calling the shots at cominiere proceed down the path that would see them fined the DRC Gov. Would not ‘dig them out of trouble’ or send the funds to pay the fine. Simply put cominiere would be folded and go into administration. What the dathcom JV contract says should this arise I am unsure. Would not be a good look, let’s hope the appropriate ministers are currently using some extremely stern words and even action towards those in charge. it could bring harmony to dathcom and an issuance of the ML pre ICC rulings . That’s the dream but everything has been done the hard way so far so not too confident of common sense taking over anytime soon.
