Drumgold said there was potentially a police officer "comitted to writing inadmissible evidence" and were trying to derail the case.
That all sounds great until he was asked by the retired justice leading the inquiry:
"How can they do that?"
"How could it upset trial because defence can't do anything other than what is ethically and legally persisted. Why do you care?"
