The deal is terrible. It's a total insult to holders. AKE holders aren't happy with my views but whatever.
I sold out and put the proceeds into MIN on open, some more PLS and will buy some Albemarle tonight. All three now have lower cost per lithia unit over the next 10 years compared to the new combined company.
I don't know what management is playing at, but feels like some investment bankers have pulled the wool over their eyes. It's going to be a giant complicated hot mess. Neither company can get anything done as it is.
A lot to be said for PLS and it's simple model and ability to execute. I got it very wrong favouring allkem over PLS on NPV grounds to begin with.
