This is what our country's leader said today (Friday) about one of its major mining developers;
"The thing about Clive and the likes of Joh, is that they have a combined obsession with labelling everything they don't like as communist."
"But a second obsession in Clive's case is to make sure you make your fortune from communists."
The Prime Minister also questioned Mr Palmer's use of the "professor" moniker, sarcastingly suggesting universities needed to look at how much they paid lecturers.
Mr Palmer was unavailable for comment this afternoon, however a spokesman said: "The Prime Minister would be better off doing his job as opposed to verbally attacking people."
This is just astounding and not rational. Even Rudd's supporters must be embarrassed at such a personal attack.
