There's been so much M&A activity in the gold sector that I haven't been able to keep up with it all!

This might of have slipped the attention of most punters here, but 2 days ago Canadian miner "Fortuna Silver Mines" made a takeover bid for ASX listed west African focused gold explorer Chesser Resources.

There was an offer of a 95% premium on the sp!... doubling the value of the company overnight!

A few very significant factors are in play, that make AZY one of the best opportunities on the market.

• Chesser Resources are located in Senegal, if one Google's news on Senegal you would find that national unrest is arising in the last 1-2 days with protesters shot and killed by government

• Chesser's resources only total 860,000 oz gold @1.8g/t, with only ¼ of it near surface. Total Mineral Resources as at December 2022 were 860koz @ 1.8g/t gold over four deposits

Those 2 points alone, are enough needed to show that AZY is a far superior company with greater assets and ground, in the safest and best mining jurisdiction in the world, with higher-grade gold and $$billions of valuable green metals copper and cobalt with the gold.
