Video came out of the Mining and Energy Commission - May 10, 2023. It is a presentation by the government about the lithium policy and a Q/A session afterwards.

At ~ 10:47 in the video the gov details that the tender for the drafting of the national lithium company bill was made by CORFO and published on April 24th. This tender will be closed and awarded on June 6th. Following the start of this awarded tender for the drafting of the bill to create the national lithium company, will be a series of events that will lead to the dissemination of the bill in October or November. (this is found at ~17:05 in the video). After the award, starting in June a formal Dialogue with local indigenous peoples will be started and will likely take a couple months. I tried to find the tender online but I cant finding immediately, Ill have to look some more another time. But this tender should be public or will likely be public I would think. I also think that this tender has some baseline for what the NLC bill will sort of look like and this is probably being studied by the industry and codelco to sort of guide the way forward until the NLC bill is created and potentially signed into law.
