Cooper Metals have secured 'greenfield' tenure at minimal costs and therefore have recently listed on the ASX with a ‘modest’ market capitalisation. Ultimately, any kind of success makes them extremely highly leverage for a rerate, and there could be multiples of it.
That was in Dec 2021.
It's amazing to consider this as 'greenfield' tenure so close to infrastructure in a tier1 jursidiction yet, has remained overlooked for so long while being under the nose of the multinationals. However, now almost 18 months on, we have a lot more clarity around CNB's discovery, confirming that there is a lot of copper and gold in the ground, plus, we're about to drill along the same trend line with modern day geochemistry and geophysics equipment confirming the highly favourable odds for success.
The exploration plays here are compelling. This whole region is shaping up to hold the copper giants the 'world' has been desperately searching for over the last ten years or so. Not the deep giants that BHP’s Oak Dam could provide but the shallower easier digs located in tier1 jurisdictions.
The timing couldn’t be any more perfect. As the world needs more copper in the next twenty years or so than has been mined in all of history if it is to keep up with the green thematic to electrify everything.
