Hello All
Further to my earlier post....is there anyone out there who is familiar with general corporate/company law in Australia vis a vis shareholder initiated resolutions.
If for example a shareholder was not happy about the way a company is managed what is the scope for a shareholder(I deem myself as NOT a minor shareholder) to go about asking for a vote/or at least a resolution to be tabled re management performance.
Is there any need for there to be a % of shareholders to support a resolution be tabled to then be voted on, or can any shareholder ask a company for such a resolution to be considered?
Furthermore would such a resolution be best tabled at an AGM or an SGM.
At this stage just in the exploratory stage.
Thanks everyone.
