My theory is if he opens it up to markets and or a cap raise he knows two things:

1. it adds to the manipulation of the stock price (it hasnt been pretty already but could be worse if insto's have more access)
2. the insto raising will take a big chunk of the fee (so it wont add as much to the company who needs cash)
3. when you cap raise to outsiders and you are the biggest holder by a long way who are you diluting most (yourself) - so to keep funding what he is really doing is protecting his own capital and actually keeping more (and if he truly believes in the product worth - which his actions show), at $10 a share is a steal
