Extract from AFR on Incitec result:
Johns was pleased with a new long-term gas contract for its Moranbah Plant, which makes ammonia and supplies miners in Queensland’s Bowen Basin. Incitec Pivot stitched up a unique deal with its current supplier, now owned by ASX-listed microcap Queensland Pacific Metals.The deal will have Incitec Pivot paying $80 million up front to help QPM develop what was a stranded, coal seam gas asset, in return for a big chunk of its production to feed into the nearby ammonia plant.
