While this announcement is a step in the right direction, 100tpa of NdFeB is peanuts and it's a far cry from the 5200tpa capacity. There has to be a reason why they can only deliver 100t. Is it feed stock? Is it KMP? Is it the asking price? Or is it something else? I like the fact that ASM has finally gone into the USA. They should have done that right from the get go and they should have built this first metal plant there as well. The market got excited at this announcement but then the realization that it's only 100t started to sink in which can be seen in the long upper shadow of yesterday's candle on the daily chart, indicating that sellers are still looking for a way out. Once again, this is a step in the right direction, but a long way to go.
